Robert M. “Bob” Myles transitioned peacefully to his eternal home at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the age of 71. He was a native of Hermanville, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. He was a graduate of Addison High School and continued his education at Utica Community College. Bob, as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was a former employee of Avondale Shipyard, McDermott, and Todd Shipyard. He will be remembered for his love of playing spades and riding his motorcycle.  Beloved husband of Ethel M. Myles. Loving father of Robert Myles, Antonia Delo, Jimmie Lee Smith, Brandi (Cottrell) Myles, and Tasha Dabney. Son of the late William Jackson and Mayola Myles. Grandson of the late Hugh and Lillie Myles. Brother of Gloria Tillman and Thelma Rogers. Nephew of Amon Myles. Devoted uncle of Bryan Keith Thomas. Cousin of the late Willie Lee Myles. Son-in-law of the late James and Antonia Thomas. Brother-in-law of Sharon and Karen Thomas, and the late Lillie Mae Thomas. Also left to cherish his memories are 27 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 1:00p.m.Visitation will begin at 12:00p.m. at the above named parlor.  Interment: Will Be Private.
