Robert George Allen

Robert G. Allen departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the age of 71. He was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Robert was a former employee of Union Pacific Railroad. Loving father of Brooksie Allen-Johnson (Darren Barbain). Beloved longtime companion of Dampsey Gilmore. Son of the late Curtis Allen and Thelma Arnold Young. Brother of Walden Allen, Lorraine Mitchell, and the late Stanley “Wempy” Allen, Ella Mae Industrious, and Carla Faye Pierre. Robert is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Private services were held.
