Wimberly R. Johnson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the age of 85. He was a native of Edgard, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. June as he was affectionately known by family and friends was an auto salesman. Beloved father of Roosevelt (Debra) Johnson, Bryan (Lisa) Johnson, David Johnson, Eroy (Warrena) Johnson, Rudolph (Patty)Johnson, Sally (Patrick) Johnson, Lori Johnson, Brandon (Merquita) Johnson, and Louis Johnson. Son of the late Wimberly and Esther G. Johnson. Brother of Gladys J. Armand, Shirley J. Coburn, Alice J. Borne, and Lucien (Fabeiola) Johnson, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Father Sidney Speaks, celebrant.
