WILLIE WILLIAMS, JR.

Willie Williams, Jr., age 77, departed this earthly life on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Bayside Healthcare Center. He was a native and resident of Harvey, LA. Willie was formerly employed as a welder. He enjoyed fishing and had a special appreciation for antique cars. Willie lived a life marked by hard work, family, faith, and an appreciation for the simple things that brought him joy. His precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Loving father of Mia K. Nicholson and the late Reginald Williams. Doting grandfather of Kniledge R. (Rian) Johns, Jason A, Jones, Jr., and Renaiya Williams. Son of the late Willie Williams, Sr. and Edna Williams Johnson. Beloved brother of Barbara Henry, Gilda Williams, Caroline Campbell, Robert (Antoinette) Williams, Anthony (Doris) Williams and the late Frank Williams, Ronald Williams, and Ray Charles Williams. Nephew of Ethel Williams and Audrey Sharper. Willie is also survived by host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, Mt. Olive Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther Street, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Darrell McKinnies, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.Interment: Will Be Private.
