William David Green entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the age of 79. He was a native of Monterey, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. William was a retired security company supervisor. He was an avid golfer and a member of Joseph M. Bartholomew Lakewood Golf Club. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn Jackson Green. Loving father of Matthew T. Green, Beverly G. Jones, William Green, Jr., Anthony Green, Deborah Green, Lisa Cureaux, Shawn P. Green, and Brittany Lacosta. Son of the late Tom Green and Elsie Sidney Green. Brother of Joseph A. Green, and the late Freeman Green, Roy Green, Frank Green, Eugene Green, Pauline G. Bruer, Thelma Scott, Annie Mae Adams, and Lillie Mae Lodge. Preceded in death by his grandparents, 2 grandchildren; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a brotherhood of golfers, other relatives and friends.
