WHITNEY LYNN LONG

Whitney Lynn Long entered peaceably into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of 32. She was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Whitney was a homemaker and a former employee of Marrero Daycare. She was actively involved with her children at Tiger Rock Martial Arts and Empire Gymnastics Academy. Whitney will be remembered for her friendly and outgoing personality, who never met a stranger. Beloved wife of Brandon Lunsford. Devoted mother of Brooklyn Lunsford and Dallas Lunsford. Loving daughter of Tammy Long (Kare) Rogne and the late Mark Long. Granddaughter of the late Jimmy and Kathy Bushard, Vernon and Jeanette Long, and Grannie Peggy Hyland. Sister of the late Mecia Long. Aunt of Landen Long. Niece of Paula (Jerry) Penouilh and Mike (Tiffany) Long. Goddaughter of Nanny Charlette and Parran Cochie (Sherri). Daughter-in-law of Pamela Lunsford; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
