WANDA JEAN CORLEY

Wanda Jean Corley, a loving mother, and grandmother, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the age of 67. She was a native of Harvey, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Wanda Jean, was an employee of Douglas Elementary School and Sunbeam Bread Bakery. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Corley. Devoted mother of Tabitha Corley, and Leron (Yolanda) Corley. Caring stepmother of Byron Corley and the late Fredrick Corley. Loving grandmother of Alfred, Byron, Jr., and Tenitra Corley. Great grandmother of Khaydence, Leah and Leila. Sister of Theodore, Jr., Kenneth Wayne, Carl Ray (Tina) Johnson, Sylvia Cousin, Linda Corley, and Patricia (Jesse) Pate. Wanda is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church, Israel Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther St., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Albert Mickel officiating.
