Wallace Jasper entered into eternal rest at The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the age of 85. He was a native of Houma, La and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Wallace served his country in the UnIted States Navy and retired after 30 years. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Navy Unit Commendation just to name a few. After his military career, Wallace was gainfully employed for many years before retiring with Lockheed Martin. Beloved husband of the late Barbara L. Jasper. Devoted father of Carl (Dennise) Jasper, and Angel Jasper. Grandfather of Justin, Jarred, and Cayleb. Great grandfather of Jamari, and Parker. Son of the late Grandison Jasper, Thomas Harding, Sr., and Evelyn F. Harding. Brother of Thomas Harding, Jr., Karen Harding, and the late Evelyn J. Lewis, Margaret H. Miller, and Debbie Harding, also survived a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church 1249 Leboeuf St. New Orleans, LA, on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Dudley Watson officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Union Benevolent Cemetery-Houma, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
