VIRGINIA BERNETTE BOOKER

Virginia Booker departed this life on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the age of 65. She was a native of Kruger, MS and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Virginia attended L. W. Higgins High School, and she was formerly employed as a supervisor with Boomtown Casino. Loving mother of David, Corey, and Brandon. Daughter of the late Leon Booker and Mattie Mae Woods Booker. Sister of Valerie and the late Alice Booker.   Aunt of Malerie, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the CELEBRATION OF LIFE at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
