Vinnie Lee Hardieway, a retired hotel housekeeper, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the age of 88. She was a native of Camden, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Jimmie Hardaway, Sr. Loving mother of Jimmie Hardaway, Jr., Milton C. Hardaway, Freddie L. Hardaway, Delores Hardieway, and the late Dorothy G. Hardieway and Clark E. Hardieway. Daughter of the late Lemon Page and Emma Hargon. Beloved sister of Molly Ross, Clementine Page, and the late Emmett Page, Elliot Page, J.L. Murray, and Callie Evans. Vinnie is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Rev. Freddie Frazier of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor. Homegoing Celebration will be held at St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church, 2301 Stump Bridge Road Camden, MS on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time. Rev. Adam Page, officiating. Interment will follow service in church cemetery.
