Veronica Johnson Aaron transitioned to be with our Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the age of 78. She was a lifelong native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Veronica was a graduate of George Washington Carver Senior High School Class of 1965, and she received her medical assistant certification from Bryman College in 1999. She retired in 2013 from Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus neurology department clinic. Beloved mother of Steven R. (Robin H.) Aaron, Sr., Kendall A. Aaron, Renell L. Aaron, and the late Ryan L. Aaron. Grandmother of Steven, Jr. Ryan G., Alexis, India, Ciara, Kendall, Jr., Rhonda, Laila, Doreain and the late Koure’ R. Aaron. Great great grandmother of the late Sweden D. Aaron. Daughter of the late Nelson Johnson, Jr., Lucille Harris Johnson, Emily J. Johnson. Sister of Walter M. Johnson, Sr., Evelyn J. Johnson, Gloria J. Harris, and the late Edward J. Johnson, Sr., Alton, Peter, and Gregory Johnson, Ella J. Richardson, and Doris J. Russell. Devoted friend of Henry and Lynette Hampton, Shannon Stanley, Wilfred Samith, Zackary, Sr. and Tamera Taylor, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of All Saints and St. Katerine Drexel Catholic Churches, and neighboring churches; employees of Ochsner Clinic Foundation -Neurology Department, Caesars Superdome, Notoco Industries, U. S. Air Force, Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, members of St. Francis DeSales Golden Voices Choir, Knights Peter Claver, Ladies Auxiliary Court 325 are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at All Saints Catholic Church 1441 Teche St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, April 25, 2025 at 11:30a.m. Father Fred Kaddau Celebrant.
