Twila Beatrice Wilson Richardson departed from this earthly life to her eternal home, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the age of 58. She was native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Twila was a graduate of John Ehret High School and currently a student at Delgado Community College. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Department of Veteran Affairs. Twila was an advocate for women who experienced trauma and loss in their lives. She was the founder of Each One Teach One (Sisters Touching Sisters). Her desire was to give hurting women an outlet to release their pain in an environment of love and compassion. Twila will be remembered as a ultimate caregiver. Wife of Nicholas Picot. Devoted mother of Nicole (Anthony) Rabathaly and Alvin Richardson III. Stepdaughter of Denise (Reginald) Bethley. Loving grandmother of Anthony Rabathaly III, A’leyah Richardson, Ashton Rabathaly, and Tamia Richardson. Daughter of the late Herman and Dolores Wilson. Granddaughter of the late Albert and Ruth Wilson, Robert and Beatrice Therrio. Sister of Laconia Therrio, Herman, Jr. (Thais), and Eric (Wanda) Wilson, and the late Betty Wilson Morton, Anthony, Norman and Wilbert Wilson. Niece of Shirley Cyprian and the late Dorothy Jones, Mildred Carolina, Laconia Lisbon, and Robert Therrio. Sister-in-law of Joyce Wilson.  Twila is also survived by her devoted friend Dean Pierce, 5 step grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and acquaintances.
