Troy Lynn Lovely entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the age of 53. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Troy was an employee of H&E Equipment as a Diesel Mechanic. Beloved husband of Deadra Hawkins Lovely. Loving father of Troy (Jomeka) Murray, Sr., and Jasmine George. Stepfather of Gary Hawkins (Jada Burrell). Grandfather of the late Trey and Tre’Ann Murray. Son of James Lovely, Sr. and Lila Ann Stewart Lovely. Grandson of the late Columbus Stewart, Sr., Constevenia Stewart, Sam Lovely, Sr., and Beatrice Lovely. Brother of James (Cassandra) Lovely, Jr., James (Sharnita) Henry, Pastor Shawn (Dayna) Lovely, Preston Johnson, James C. Antoine, Terry Antoine, Michael Alphonse, Dionne Hart, Nickey Johnson, Aretha (Steven) Wilson, Jamie (Randy) Johnson, Deshawn Johnson, Sonya Antione, and the late Michael Lovely, and Troy D. Lovely. Nephew Linda Champagne, Nell (Pastor James) Whitney, Shirley Jackson, Debra Ott, Shelia Brinson, Gretchen Rosewood, Carlis, Darryl, Kirk, and Sam Lovely, Jr., and the late Calvin Rodriquez, Columbus Stewart, Jr., Tobenia (Charles) Thomas, Carolyn Stewart, Betty Jean Louis, and Junior Champagne. Son-in-law of Delores Hawkins, and the late Joe Willie Hawkins, Sr. Brother-in-law of Linda Hawkins, and the late Joe Willie Hawkins, Jr., and Lionel Hawkins. Troy is also survived by 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
