TRAMAEL LASHAWN DRAKE

Tramael Drake entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at age 46. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Tramael was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School, and he was a retired assistant maintenance II with Jefferson Parish Sewerage and Water Department. Loving son of Sandra Chaney. Grandson of the late George and Bertha Norman. Brother Marvin J. Chaney II. Uncle of Marvin Chaney, III, and Mariah Chaney. Nephew of Patricia Drake Spears, Karen Norman, Jerrol Jones, Willie Lee Drake, Ray Drake, Johnny Drake, Stanley Drake, Jeffery Norman, Derrick Norman, Michael Jones, and the late Albert Drake, and Gregory Drake, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ 1515 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Thornton officiating.
