TRACY WHITLEY

Tracy Whitley departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the age of 56. He was a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Tracy always had a smile on his face and loved to go fishing. He will be remembered for his peaceful humble spirit, who lit up a room with his laughter. Beloved son of Sallie Whitley and the late Joe Jefferson. Loving brother of Doris (Larry) Riggins, Jerry Whitley, Linda Walker, Donna Whitley, Jacklyn (Michael) Allen and Sharon Whitley. Tracy is also survived by a host of other siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Minister Henry Johnson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
