Tirrell “Dank” Gilmore, Sr., departed this life on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the age of 48. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved father of Leonquel Gardner, Tirrell Gilmore, Jr., Tirrielle Johnae Gilmore, Taliyah Gilmore, Tyree Gilmore, Tajah McGinnis, and Tanner Gilmore. Loving grandfather of Taniyah Gilmore, Titan Dyson, Jyi Gilmore, Tyler Dyson, Ty’lin Gilmore, and Reign Moses. Son of Leroy Trask, Sr. and the late Dorothy “Yenni” Gilmore. Stepson of Marvin Black. Brother of Leroy Trask, Jr., Johnnie Williams, Jr., Angiel Trask, Katrina Trask, Christina Anderson, Jada Williams, and the late Johnnie “Doolie” Gilmore, and Courtney Belton. Nephew of Cora Gilmore, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service at the parlor.
