TIMOTHY JONES

Timothy Jones entered into ternal rest at his residence on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the age of 64. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Big Timmy, as he was affectionately called by family and friends was employed as an auto mechanic. Husband of the late Robin Mitchell Jones. Devoted father of Timothy and Shawn (Shamara) Mitchell, Sr., Tamber Bell, Maria and Rashanda Scott. Son of the late Jerry, Sr. and Mable G. Jones. Grandson of the late Lovenia Joseph. Brother of Jesse, Mark (Annette) and Northern Jones, Audrey Lewis, Lucille Every, Princess (David, Sr.), Knight, and the late Bobby, Larry, Jerry (Mabel), and Irma Jones. Devoted friend of Gaynell Jackson, also survived by 13 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of House of Judah Ministries, Life Center both of Marrero, LA, Linked Up Church of Powder Springs, GA, and neighboring churches; employees of American Safety of Belle Chasse, LA, JPDA Office of Harvey, LA are invited to attend the Memorial Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Ernest Weber, Jr. officiating.
