THURMAN LEE GILMORE, JR.

Thurman Lee Gilmore, Jr. entered eternal rest at his residence on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the age of 47. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Thurman was employed at Copeland’s Restaurant. Beloved son of the late Thurman Lee Gilmore, Sr., and Shelia Cole. Stepson of the late Shelia Paynes Gilmore. Loving grandson of the late Dempsey and Ida Mae Gilmore, Willie and Shirley Cole. Brother of Nicholas Gilmore, Nicole Gilmore, Kendra (Lewis) Revadar, Shelita Gilmore, and the late Rhinell Paynes. Thurman is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
