TERRY BRAD HUNTER

Terry Brad Hunter entered peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, May 27, 2022, at the age of 66. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of San Diego, CA. Terry was employed as a painter with the City of San Diego, retiring in 2020 after 20 years of service. Throughout his career, he received numerous awards and recognition for his work within the City of San Diego. Terry loved listening to jazz, entertaining friends and family, and visiting New Orleans, affectionately referred to as “home.” If ever given an opportunity to take a vacation, he chose to go home.  Beloved husband of 42 years to Pamela Hunter. Devoted father of Danielle (Darrell) Hunter, Quianne Johnson, Ramona Armon (Marchaune) both of Dallas, TX, and Terrilyn Hunter of San Diego, CA. Loving son of Irma Y. Hunter and the late Mason Hunter, Sr.  Brother of Mason (Adrian) Hunter, Jr., Cynthia (Arthur) Banks, and Lear (Rickey) Owens. Terry is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, 817 Grefer Street Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Keith Stewman, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
