TERRANCE LEE WASHINGTON

Terrance Lee Washington entered eternal rest at his residence on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the age of 62. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Terrance was a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, and Texas School of Electricians obtaining a bachelor’s degree. He was a former employee with Avondale Shipyard as an electrician and crane operator. He was a member of Second St John Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully. Beloved father of Terance L. Conner (Teriyaki), and Terrion Alexander Young (Danny). Grandfather of the late Nicholas Ratliff, Jr. Son of the late John Rubit and Ethel M. Washington. Brother of Charmaine Washington, Adrian Kelly, Iris Ponson, Marie Sigler, JoAnn Michelle, Pearl Rubit, and the late Anasthesia Johnson, Lavina Rubit, and Joan Washington-Surgent. Terrance was survived by 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday November 22, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
