Taris Earnell Lemon entered eternal rest at East Jefferson Hospital on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the age of 55. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Taris was a former porter and shipyard worker. Beloved husband of Angeletta Marie Lemon. Devoted son of the late Arnold Hammond, Sr., Arie Veronica Hammond, and Robert Collette, Jr. Stepson of Cheryl Collette. Grandson of the late Eddie and Lizzie Lemon, Robert, Sr. and Marybell Collette. Brother of Ahsaki, Aron, Ramona, Treneida, Trichena, and the late Arnold Hammond, Jr. Uncle of Sebastian, Jr., Derrick, Jr., Dillion, Drake, Akari, Madisyn, Hannah, Janae, Monae, and Candria. Brother in law of Urselia, Latoya, Kierra, Henrietta, Henry, Jr., Derrick, Sr., and Sebastian, Sr., also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Tabernacle Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Tabernacle Church 355 Sala Ave Westwego, LA on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Charlie Greer, Jr., officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery- Westwego, LA.
