SYLVESTER EPHERSON, SR.

Sylvester Epherson, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the age of 59. He was a native of Hazelhurst, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Sylvester was employed as a carpenter. Companion of Pamela Berry. Loving father of Lanora Epherson, and Syvester Epherson, Jr. Stepfather of Vanessa Richard, Samyra Richard, Bruce Price, Tyron Price, and Terriana Price. Son of Willie E. Epherson, Sr. and Nora Epherson. Grandson of the late Lester Epherson, Sr., Willie Mae Epherson, William Washington, and Rosie Mae Washington. Brother of Eric Epherson, Donald Byther, Wendell Carr, Willie E. Carr, Ruthie Owens, Shelita Epherson, Quiana Carr, Shelby Hood, Isabelle Carr, and the late Willie E. Epherson, Jr., Dwayne Carr, JoWanda Carr, Vanessa Johnson, and Sandra Epherson. Sylvester is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
