Sula Mae Barriere, affectionately known as “Mamme”, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the age of 84. She was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans, LA. She was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service, and even in retirement, she remained devoted to helping others, feeding the homeless, caring for those in need, and volunteering her time. Sula was known for her love of baking, especially her brownies, which she shared with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, thrift shopping, and traveling. Above all, she was a woman of deep faith who openly shared her love for Jesus and lived a life that reflected his love. Even in her passing, her message of faith continues.
