STEVE HELTON

Steve Helton entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Steve was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System and was a retired laborer with Celotex Corporation. Loving father of Earnell (Mary) Lemon, Shannon Cason (Shawn) Torrence, and Beverly Scott (Phillip) Williams. Beloved son of the late Ruth Helton and Louis Taylor. Brother of Louis (Sharan) Lionel Helton, Annette Hagan, and Darlene (David) Torry, and the late Joseph Helton, Philip Helton, Loretta Johnson, Evelyn Young, and Melody Baptiste, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
