STANLEY MEYERS

Stanley Meyers, age 60, entered into eternal rest at Northoaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Stanley was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. He proudly severed his country for 13 years as a member of the United States Navy. During his military career, Stanley was employed as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was also a former employee of Sears, General Motors, and NOLA Water. Loving husband of the late Daphene Meyers. Devoted father of Stantoria Meyers. Loving bonus father of Tennille Williams, Johnika Williams, John Williams, and Michael Mann. Doting grandfather of Caleb, Christian, and Cameron Kinsey-McLeod, and Tiana Meyers. Son of the late Warren Meyers, Sr. and Jerry Dean Meyers. Beloved brother of Dr. Robert Meyers M.D., Mark Meyers, and the late Warren Meyers, Jr. Also cherishing his memories are his nieces, Ashley Daniel Dickey, Asianay Meyers-Magee, Markia Meyers, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at New Hope Baptist Church, 434 7th Street, Gretna, LA on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Warren E. Johnson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the church.
