SHONA MARIE SAUL

Shona Saul departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Shona was a woman known for her strength, warmth, humor, and deep love for her family and friends. She lived her life with a bold spirit and a heart that welcomed everyone, earning her the beloved nickname “ShoNuff.” Shona will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her strong will, and the unconditional love she gave to her family. Whether through laughter, wisdom, or simply being present, she made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love, strength, and family will continue to live on through those she leaves behind. Beloved mother of David Balthazar (Rosezel), Jennifer Saul, Johnathan Saul, Sr. Loving grandmother of Jasmine Saul, Gavin Balthazar, and Johnathan Saul, Jr. Daughter of the late Uriah Frazier and Dolores Causey. Sister of Zirece Frazier and the late Glenn Frazier. Godmother of Octavia Boles (George) Wilson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, and many friends whose lives she touched in countless ways. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and member of New Light Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at New Light Baptist Church 1435 Feliciana St. New Orleans, LA on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Gregory Davis officiating.
