SHIRLEY MAE WASHINGTON

Shirley Mae Washington entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the age of 95. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Shirley was a retired beautician after 50 years. Loving mother of Victor (Doris), Jacqueline, Paulette, Yvette, Shelia, and the late Paul and Louis. Daughter of the late Edward and Ida Mae Washington. Sister of Doris LeBlanc, and the late Daisey, Mable, Sadie, Iona, Edward, George, Harold, and James, also survived by 33 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and a host of great-great children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
