SHIRLEY MAE JIMCOILY FELO

Shirley Mae Jimcoily Felo was called home by her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Ochsner Hospital in Jefferson, LA at the age of 72.  She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of 52 years to Terry Felo, Sr. Devoted mother of Terry (Nicole) Jr, Gary, Cathy, Damon, and Catherine Felo and the late Roger Felo. Great grandmother of the late A’lyah Felo. Daughter of the late Gary Jimcoily, Jr., and Ruthle Chapple Jimcoily. Sister of Doris Cook, Evelyn Butler, Carolyn (Vincent) Watson, Cassandra Franklin, Janice (Raymond) Jones, Elaine (Nathaniel) Levy, Yolanda (Walter) Favoroth, Gayland Williams, Shelia and Dwayne Jimcoily, and the late Ronald and Darren Jimcoily. Niece of Oralee J. Roberson and Stella Jimcoily. Sister-in-law of Lorraine Perry, Emelda Bynum, Odile Stephens, Frances Williams, and Richard (Theodora) and Linda Felo. Godmother of Emile Cook, Jr., and Orlando Jimcoily. Devoted friend of Natoya Lopez, also survived by 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, officers and members of House of Refuge Apostolic, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Second Nazarine Baptist Church, and neighboring churches; employees of Orleans Parish Sheriff Office, Walmart, Our Lady of Wisdom, Jo Ellen Smith Living Center, Ochsner Health System, Turner Industries, and Dan Landscaping are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L. B. Landry Ave., New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 10:30a.m. Bishop Edward Odums officiating - Pastor Norman J. Francis Host Pastor.
