SHERINA SOPHIA YOUNG

Sherina Sophia Young entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 41. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Sherina attended John Ehret High School. Beloved daughter of Terry Lee Young, Sr. and Vallerie Denise Young. Granddaughter of Mary Louise Burns, and the late Vernell Burns, Robert Young, and Silena Holmes. Sister of Jamez Daniels, Terry Lee Young, Jr., Randell Poole, Randy Poole, and Quinisha Landry. Nephew of the late Christopher Burns, Sr. Cousins of the late Christopher Burns, Jr., Kristen Symone Burns, and Corey “TT” Constantine, Jr. Sherina is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service.
