SHAWN ANTHONY MITCHELL, JR.

Shawn Anthony Mitchell departed this life on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age 20. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Shawn was a 2024 graduate of John Ehret High School. Shawn was employed with ASM Global as a parking attendant at the Ceaser’s Superdome. Beloved son of Shawn Anthony Mitchell, Sr. and Shamara J. Mitchell. Grandson of Barbara F. Jolla, Myron V. (Ernestine) Davis, and the late Timothy and Robin Mitchell Jones. Great grandson of the late Lois Boudreaux Charles, Earl Davis, Jr. Bobby and Marcia Mitchell, Henry and RosieBell Jolla. Loving brother of Shamar M. Mitchell. Nephew of Shameka (Herman) Rogers, Jade Jolla, Maria Scott, Roshanda Scott, Tamber Bell, and Timothy Mitchell. Shawn is also survived by a host cousins, other relatives and friends. A. Ranson, host pastor; Elder Kailumn Reynold of Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
