Sharriyan “Shay” O’bryana, Bridges, 31, a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece passed away at Ochsner Medical Center on Saturday, June 21, 2025. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. She was a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School, and she attended Blue Cliff College. Sharriyan was employed by Catholic Charites as a Direct Services Professional. Beloved mother of Kamren Anthony Hicks and Kayden Alijah Green. Loving daughter of Donecia and Theodore Summers, Jr. Loving granddaughter of Sharon and James Rollins, Jr., Donald (Nona) Haynes, Jerry Pierre, Louis Morris, and the late Theodore, Sr. and Glenda Summers. Daughter of Derrick Bridges. Great granddaughter of the late Leon and Augustine Briscoe. Sister of SSG Justin (SSG Reneika) Coleman, Theory Summers, Stanford Summers, Thesis Summers, Imari (Joshua) Young, Taya Summers, Sarra (Jarred) Jensen, Nyssa Summers, Autymn Summers, Isis and S’mia Summers. Niece of Patrice Stanford and James Rollins Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great aunts and uncles, cousins, other family and friends. Private Services Will Be Held.
