SANDRA LEE ZERANGUE

Sandra Lee Zerangue entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Sunday August 9, 2026, at the age of 77. She was a native and a resident of Gretna, LA. Sandra was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System, and she was a retired employee with 31 years of dedicated service with Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority. Devoted mother of Illya Keir Zerangue, Sr. Loving grandmother of Illya Keir Zerangue, Jr. and Ion Leon Zerangue. Daughter of the late Samuel Walters. and Virginia Zerangue. Granddaughter of the late Joseph Zerangue and Sally Johnson. Sister of Wanda J. Meredith, Linda Walters Lewis, Shelia Walters Clark, Pamela Lambert Veal, Samuel Zerangue, William Perkins, Jr., Manuel Walters, and the late Diana Walters and Jonell Walters Lucas. Devoted uncle of Chad Clark. Companion of Samuel Hedrington. Godmother of Trishelle Romar and Rodrick Gray. Sandra is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Rev.
