SANDRA LEE LEONARD

Sandra Lee Leonard, age 67, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was a native and resident of New Orleans. Sandra was a 1972 graduate of L.B. Landry High School. She was a former employee of Cox Cable and Southern Baptist Hospital. Devoted mother of Latasha Williams Thompson and Corey Williams. Loving daughter of Thelma Ruth Hampton Leonard and the late Jurdon Dave Leonard, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Mitchell Hampton, Jr., Leotha Ellen Hampton, Leon Leonard, Sr., and Creola Dinah Leonard. Sister of Donald Ray Leonard, Debra Jean Leonard, Tracey Lynn Leonard, Pamela Leonard Lee, Irene Leonard Martin, and the late Jurdon Dave Leonard, Jr., Bobby Joe Leonard, and Geraldine Leonard Chance. Sandra is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Hosanna Fellowship Church of Gretna, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.B. Landry Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Norman N. Francis, Host Pastor - Pastor Alex J. Bellow, officiating.
