SANDRA DENISE EPHERSON

Sandra Epherson entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson Highway on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the age of 63. She was a native of Hazelhurst, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Sandra attended Phillips Junior College, and she was a former employee with DSW. Beloved mother of Kiesha, Marquis and Willie Gray. Daughter of Willie E. Epherson, Sr. and Nora Lee Epherson. Granddaughter of the late Lester Epherson, Sr., Willie Mae Epherson, William Washington, and Rosie Mae Washington. Sister of Eric Epherson, Donald (Alice) Byther, Wendell Carr, Willie E. Carr, Ruthie Owens, Shelita Epherson, Quiana Carr, Shelby Hood, Isabelle Carr, and the late Willie E. Epherson, Jr., Dwayne Carr, JoWanda Carr, Vanessa Johnson, and Sylvester Epherson, Sr. Sandra is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
