RUTH RIGGINS MOORE

Ruth Riggins Moore, age 87, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at Passages Hospice. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Ruth attended L. B. Landry High School and was a graduate of Jefferson parish Public School System. She was a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish Council on Aging. Ruth was a member of New Life Fellowship Ministries. Loving mother of Paulette Edmond, Stanley Moore III, Aubrey Moore, Sr., Donald Moore, Sr., Kenneth Moore, Sr., and the late Stanley Moore, Jr.  Daughter of the late Moses Riggins and Edna Barney. Sister of Betty Mae Thomas, Edward, Micheal, Moses, Larry, and John Riggins, Dorothy Mae Bobb, Carolyn Comeaux, and the late Willie Scott, Jr., Joseph Sr., Hilton Sr., William, Miles, and Calvin Riggins, Leona Warmington, Beulah Scott, Dorothy Hill, Rose Curtis, and Edna Elliot. Ruth is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
