RUSSELL HENRY, SR.

Russell Henry, Sr., age 80, departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. He was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Stepfather of Ossie and Robert Sears. Beloved son of the late Moses Henry, Sr. and Berhta Roussell Henry. Grandson of the late Richard and Rebecca Henry. Loving brother of Diane Henry, Elaine Hamilton, Linda Henry, Suzanne Dixon, Carol Houston, Adrian Henry, Moses, Jr., David, Evendous, and Warren Henry, and the late Arthur Henry. Uncle of the late Roger Henry. Brother-in-law of Johnnie Lee Hamilton and Willie Houston; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family; employees of Westbank Cab Company (Jordan) are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
