ROYAL WIGGINS, JR.

Royal Wiggins, Jr., age 78, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, May 28, 2022.  He was a native of Napoleonville and a resident of Harvey, LA. Royal was an Ironworker at Local 56 & 416 Union. Husband of Brenda Henderson Wiggins. Loving father of Royal (Denea) Wiggins, III, Tameka (Jermaine) Boatner, Sherri Wiggins, Ann Robinson, and Kenneth “Beau” Smith. Son of the late Royal Wiggins, Sr., and Martha Henry Wiggins. Brother of Ralph Wiggins, Martha Ann Washington, and the late Audrey “Patty” Barrios, and Sandra Thomas. Special nephew of Nancy Jean Collins, and Herman. Royal is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Holy Trinity Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Holy Trinity Baptist Church, 1727 Erie St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Patrick Leonard, officiating.
