ROY LEE MCDANIEL, SR.

Rev. Roy Lee McDaniel entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 19, 2021, at the age of 79. He was a native of McGehee, AR and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Roy was a graduate of McGehee High School, and served his county in the United States Navy for 3 years. Rev. McDaniel was pastor of Liberty Faith Baptist Christian Church. He was owner of United We Stand Car Wash, The Bar B Q Rib Cage, and His N Hers Boutique. Beloved husband of Corla McDaniel. Devoted father of Markus, Alfred, Roy III, Thelouphis McDaniel, David Shannon, Lillian Deorosan Lobrie, Karen Brown, Tanishia Butler, Alexis (Zachary, Sr.) Brown, Robert (Christiana) Butler, Sr., Alton (Roseland) Butler, Timothy Victor, and the late Roy McDaniel, Jr. Stepfather of Ricky Brown. Son of the late Oliver McDaniel, and Piccola Lewis. Brother of Tommy Lee McDaniel and Bessie Lee Stewart.  Preceded in death by his grandparents and 5 brothers, also survived by 47 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
