ROY A. DAVIS

Roy Anthony Davis departed this life at his residence of Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 72. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Roy was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School class of 1970. He was employed with the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton and Embassy Suites in hospitality as a bartender. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Allen Davis. Loving father of the late Roy Michael Davis. Son of the late Leonard Leo Davis and Vivian Lottie Trosclair Davis. Brother of Timothy J. Davis, Sr. and the late Leonard Paul, Freddie, Warren, Leslie, and Aaron Gary Davis, and Lottie Mae Davis Pitre. Brother-in-law of Elaine Davis, Anna-Mae Davis, Linda Nora-Davis, Semora “Lola” Davis, and the late Carol Paul, Juanita Davis, and Ivory Huber Pitre. Roy is also survived by his devoted nephew Leonard Brian Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
