Rose Ann Howard Garrison, lovingly known as “Annie Boo”, entered peacefully into eternal rest in Houston, TX on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the age of 82. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Rose was a graduate of Magnolia High School, and she attended Grambling State University. Guided by a spirit of compassion and strength, she pursued a career as a Nurse Aide, providing care, comfort, and dignity to all those she served. Rose was a devoted member of Restoration Baptist Church, where she held the honored title of Mother of the Church and also served on the finance committee. Her devotion was a source of inspiration to all who worshipped alongside her. Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Calvin Dumas Garrison. Devoted mother of Talise Hayes, Shondalon Guillot, and Calvin (Lakeytra) Garrison, Jr. Loving grandmother of Eric Garrison, Jeremy Hayes, Dustin Garrison, Sr., Joshua Hayes, Dillan Guillot, Jordan Hayes, Da’Mya Guillot, Destiny Guillot, Carlie Garrison, and Adeena Garrison. Daughter of the late Percy Howard, Sr, and Ruby Zeno Howard. Sister of Percy (Romonda) Howard, Jr., Tyrone (Brenda) Howard, Carmen Jackson, Elston Howard, Carl Howard, and the late Melvin Howard. Also cherishing her memories are 11 great grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews, 4 godchildren, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Restoration Baptist Church, New Home Ministries, Ground Zero Apostolic Ministries, Mount Hermon Baptist Church (Avondale), First Pilgrim Baptist Church, Highway Baptist Church (Vacherie), Second High Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Shell Norco, Ochsner General Surgery Clinic (Main Campus); members of the Krewe of Nandi are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Highway Baptist Church, 1533 Haydel Drive, Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
