Roosevelt “T-Niche” Matthews, age 52, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Saturday, May 24, 2025. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Roosevelt was employed as a line chef. Loving father of Roosevelt Tyler, Jamel Martin, Jamal LaFrance, Deangelo Wilford, Ronique Taylor, Rokita Barnes, Miqual White, A’Kyla Gibson, Kendrick White, Romyra Wiltz, and Tenyla Wiltz. Beloved son of the late William and Roslyn Matthews Mitchell. Devoted brother of Neicole, Tiara, Trena, and Arthur; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
