ROOSEVELT DAY

Roosevelt Day entered peacefully into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the age of 69. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Son of the late Herman Day, Sr. and Beulah J. Day. Loving brother of Lionel Day, Roosevelt Day, James Day, JoAnn Day, Elaine Day Williams, and the late Kim Day Lewis, Herman Day, Jr. and John Day. Roosevelt is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service.
