RONALD JAMES ROYAL, SR.

Ronald James Royal, Sr. entered eternal life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 74. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Ronald was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he was a retired forklift driver with Avondale Shipyard. Beloved husband of Victoria Royal. Loving father of Ronald, Jr., Jeffery, and Darwin Royal, Suzanne, Joesia, III, and Joshua Wilson, Sr., and the late Annisa Royal. Son of the late Joseph J. Royal and Dorothy Videau Royal. Brother of Prosper Royal, Russell Royal, Sheron Moore, Shelia Joseph, and the late Donald, Sr., Rodney, Sr., and Robert Royal, Sr. Ronald is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
