Roderick Marichal Bosley entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, a longtime resident of Sacramento, CA. and presently residing in Slidell, LA. Roderick was a graduate of Carroll High School in Monroe, LA. He was a former employee with FedEx, UPS, and Metrie EL&El in California for many years. “Bo”, as he was affectionately known by family and friend, served his country in the United States Air Force. Devoted father of Shaina Martin, Zarah Williams, and Mallory Bosley. Beloved son of Judy Bosley Ketchens and the late Roosevelt Bosley, Jr. Stepson of the late Rev. Vernon Ketchens, Jr. Grandson of the late Thomas Roy, Sr. and Julia E. Joseph Jackson Roy, Roosevelt, Sr. and Easter Bosley. Brother of Dr. Elydia P. Ketchens (Blake) Smith, Vernika S. Ketchens (Elder Harvey) Brown, Julie A. Ketchens, Jonathan (Tiana) Smith, Letitia (Clinton) Manuel, Charlene Bosley, Darlene Jackson, Sabrina Dorsey, Gwendolyn (Andrew) Jackson, and Brandon (Brandy) Ledet. Nephew of Wilma R. Jackson, and Clarice Taylor. Great nephew of the late Eugene, Sr. and Gloria Thomas, and Rev. Walter C. Jackson. Godson of Larry Thompson and Lana T. Harrington. Roderick is also survived by Tony Nelson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Private Services Will Be Held.
