ROBERT WILSON, JR.

Robert Wilson entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the age of 81. He was a native of Lettsworth, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Robert was a retired employee of Avondale Shipyard for over 40 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy Wilson. Loving father of Catherine Wilson, Patricia Wilson, Lori (Ernest) Williams, Marilyn (Booker) Harris, Barbara Wilson and the late Rickey Wilson. Son of the late Rober Wilson, Sr. and Rosie Wilson, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
