Rickie Thomas, Sr., entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson Highway on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Rickie was carpenter with Thomas Home Repair and Remodeling. Beloved husband of Rose E. Thomas. Loving father of Rickie Thomas, Jr. Son of the late Bennie Minor and Ellen Lee Thomas. Brother of Charlie Thomas, Mark Thomas, Ivan Thomas, Lisa Thomas, Mathilda Thomas, Cindy Thomas, Wendy (Elroy) Jackson, and the late Fred Thomas, Shelia Thomas, and Angela Thomas. Stepbrother of Adrian Jackson and Carlos Jackson. Rickie is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Worship Center, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive, Marrero, LA on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage, officiating.
