RAY SINGLETON

Ray Singleton entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the age of 70. He was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Ray was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and a retiree of West Jefferson Hospital. Beloved husband of Cassandra Singleton. Loving father of Rachel Fuller, Bennie Bazley, and Ray Patterson. Beloved son of the late William Van Singleton, and Audrey Eskind Singleton. Brother of Don Singleton, Melvin Singleton, Dwight (Shelia) Singleton, Elaine (Eugene) Baxter, Claudette (Howard, Sr.) Clark, Joanne Brown, and the late Alvin, Gregory, William, Jr., and Wayne Singleton, Ersula Cambrite, and Elnora Jason. Ray is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Norman Francis, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
