RAVEN CARRIEL KITTS

Raven Carriel Kitts entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the age of 28. She was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Raven was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. She was currently enrolled at Nichols State University, majoring in Computer Science. Raven was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and a proud member of the “Who Dat Society”. Loving companion of Russel Gregory. Devoted mother of Rhyse Antonio Gregory. Beloved daughter of Randolph Chappel Kitts and Tamicka Kitts. Granddaughter of Irvin and Joyce Mason and the late Joseph and Naomi Kitts. Sister of Raneka Kitts and Kadrica Wilson. Aunt of Se’Mya Williams, Wesleigh Wilson and Reagan Crawford. Niece of Carrie Henry, Raquel Lewis, Chae Davis, Monica McGowen, Donna Chappel, Hushika Allen, Nikita Cook, Deloris Jordan, Connie Pierre, Theaudric Davis, Henry Kitts, Parker Chappel, Jr., Walter Chappel, and the late Annastasia Kitts, Letishal Butler, Wanda Kitts, and Joseph Kitts, Jr. Cousin of the late Trenell Chappel and Parker Chappel, Jr. Raven is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Avenue New Orleans, LA on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Nelson Brown, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
