Rasi Grayman entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the age of 48. He was a native of Antigua, West Indies, and resident of LaPlace, LA. Rasi attended Sweets Primary School, ABC Trade School, and he was employed as a certified welder. Beloved husband of Ashley Calvin. Loving father of Aysia Freeman, Glan Grayman, Glenn Grayman, Briana Grayman, and Logan Grayman. Son of Wilson Grayman, and the late Mary Jarvis Grayman. Grandson of the late Wildred and Alberta Grayman, Berkeley and Louisa Jarvis. Brother of Lemmie (Sasha) Henry, George (Elfie) Nathan, John Nathan, Dalton (Martha) Graham, Tyran (Francisca) Denys, Judith (Hopeton) Jarvis, Sandra Grayman, Francine Nathan, Denise (Gary) Thomas, Cassandra (Randall) Grayman, Nadija Grayman, Harry (Tammie) Grayman, Henderson (Monique) Grayman, and the late Ivor Grayman. Rasi is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.B. Landry Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Ernest Weber officiating; Pastor Norman Francis Host Pastor. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
