Ra'Quan Tyrone Butcher entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the age of 24. He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Ra'Quan was pursuing a career in the music industry and was preparing to publish his first book. Companion of Jaylynn Lewis and their unborn child. Son of Alvin Butcher, Jr., and the late Tahira Sakina Chopin. Grandson of Verna Chopin, Patricia Martin, Donald Lee Chopin, and Alvin Butcher, Sr. Great grandson the late Raymond and Inez Daniels. Brother of Qua'ran Butcher, Alvi'nique Butcher, Alvinisha Butcher, Alvi Butcher, and Alvin Butcher, III. Uncle of Keziah Sakina Carter, Ja'Lanni Tanaya Butcher, and Ja'Laysia Tayvia Butcher. Nephew of Tajama Chopin, Aaliyah Chopin, Anika Butcher, Don Chopin, Jr., Shawn Chopin, Sr., and Khalid (Tanzania) Chopin. Close cousin of Tyrell Washington, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA, on Monday, February 13, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
